We had a baseball coach my frosh year in high school who just came home from being in A ball. He used to give the entire team “dip”, half of who which would puke their guts out. He asked my buddy and I if we wanted some, we said no and he called us “pussies”. The 80s were wild times.

Because they didn’t have a bunch of picks in this draft? LA has one of the top minor league systems, they do very well with international signings and have a pipeline to Japan. Not to mention they sign just about every good free agent and aren’t afraid of trades. How are they severely handicapped?
