Devolution has allowed us to make choices like free university tuition, free bus travel for young people, and support for families through the Scottish Child Payment. We deserve a Parliament whose powers are respected, not treated as something for UK politicians to play with.

So Badenoch vows to fight the SNP "for our union". What does she mean by "our"? Well, the Tories haven't been voted in by Scotland for over 70 years and the people do not have a majority wanting to remove powers from Holyrood. So "our" union means "England's" union. It's a colonialist point of view.

I see BBC Scotland, and the anti-independence press, all of whom made a huge song and dance about Gordon Brown's Vow in 2014, aren't too bothered that the Tories - one of the signatories of the Vow - have just ripped it up and now want to strip powers from Holyrood.

We have consistently found that antisocial behaviour primarily comes from a lack of healthier outlets. Our young people are growing up in a society that has cut back on providing for them, that has isolated them from their communities, and then questions why they might act out.

Absolutely but a strong independent Scotland will need its own Central Bank and its own currency. We will have a lot of investment to make in infrastructure and undoing austerity. We need control of our own finances.
