In the UK, there are TV channels promoting fascism and hatred, funded by billionaires. In Scotland, we get the state broadcaster promoting British nationalism. If Scotland really wants fair and balanced TV news, we need to get behind grass-roots funding for Scotland's Independent Broadcaster.

I agree. Any such 'splits' in the independence movement are of course encouraged by bad players/Unionists, so this we all need to recognise. We should all act with more understanding of that, no matter the contrary methods adopted, to secure our common objective.

Yes lots of posters here screaming at Swinney and SNP to do something to bring about independence. But in reality it will take effort from all indy supporters, standing together, putting their shoulders to the wheel, deaving the U.K. govt and demanding another referendum. Otherwise we’ll be ignored.

You talk about a ‘democratic deficit’ 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 and NI imo made the right choices at the time, and rejected Brexit. But due to the mass voting numbers in 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿, we got what 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 wanted. In UK wide elections, that will always be the case. Your democratic deficit in the conversation is not ours.
