It appears the Orange Order has rejected the Secretary of State's deal that had been accepted by the Garvaghy Road residents. As has been apparent from the start - the Orange Order caused the dispute and are prolonging the dispute. #Drumcree #GarvaghyRoad

The Garvaghy Road is a multi ethnic multi denominational diverse community today. Nobody living their wants this march notwithstanding the diversity of identity there today. This is not a 'Catholic - Protestant' issue. It's a human rights issue.

Children cannot attend school today because of the reckless actions of the Portadown District Orange Lodge. It is very clear who is at fault for causing tension and division. It is not the residents of the Garvaghy Road.

Kids on the Garvaghy Road have a right to go to school. The Orange Order forced the closure of a primary school on the Garvaghy Road today. The Orange Order do not have a right to trample on the rights of those children.

There are other routes available. The Orange Order requested the route that would cause intimidation and has previously resulted in people being killed. There is no logical reason to request this route; other than to cause offence and provocation.
