This is exactly how I see LLMs. They work in programming because the harness can debug the code they write. But they are too unreliable and stochastic to be used for anything where accuracy matters and you can't easily test their output for accuracy. Like analysis workflows in research.

Hey, @maxfawcett.bsky.social #Canada is in the 'red zone' on emissions. The wind and hydro projects in Que, NFLD, and NS need to giddy up to offset AB. Mr Carney needs to articulate his plan to reduce emissions. Explain who is buying the new phase two LNG and the oil from the Mb/d pipeline.

Despite the security and cost issues of getting oil out of the Middle East. Solar wind and batteries will displace LNG in Asian grids a lot faster than previously anticipated. Evs will displace gasoline, already has by 2Mb/d. Imagine that amping to 4mb/d by 2030! before the MB/d pipeline is built.

Sure there's demand side risk for the oil companies. Who is buying the oil for the Mb/d pipeline. Is it new supply? Or, is it rerouting oil going to Chicago, or Houston? How and why would shippers do that? CDN oil to Asia is bottleneck free. Has any buyer there signed an off take contract?

Asian countries, the target market for the Mb/d pipeline are electrifying a pace! Ironically, so is Canada, largely unrecognized. The Que/NFLD hydro deal is an emissions reducer. As are the off shore wind projects, in Nova Scotia. Emissions are reducible at the household by upgrading appliances.

There's one consequential problem with the Mb/d pipeline. Additionally, TMX is expanding to take up two thirds of available supply shorturl.at/mCTtk Agree emission reduction plans are weak. The most effective is electrification.

Since the Hormuz crisis, EU gas prices are up 132% and oil 52%. Electricity is up 44%, after falling through spring. Every boiler, car and furnace that switches to electricity is less exposed to the energy crisis. Electrification is increasingly energy security.

CHASING NET ZERO SERIES AUDIO BLOG By David Dodge, GreenEnergyFutures.ca For Stephen Magneron, a “chainsaw retrofit” offered the precise remedy to convert a 1970s bungalow into a high-performance net-zero residence. This description might evoke a horror film where Leatherface uses a chainsaw to tear apart a house. Yet “chainsaw retrofits” are an established—common approach for upgrading older homes. “We chopped off the overhangs, and then we wrapped the building with an airtight membrane, and then insulated it with a Larsen Truss system on the walls and the roof,” says Stephen Magneron, a master energy advisor with…

More analysis required on the 'Hormuz Bump,' Asian countries de-risking their energy imports, coming from the Middle East, replacing gas for their electrical grids with solar wind and batteries, mimicking China. Phase Two LNG Canada comes on line in 2028, just when the glut hits the market.

That's countered by Qatar rebuilding its facilities intersects with LNG Canada expansion, driving up construction costs. Additionally, no report on government subsidies for this project. The GoC very recent restructuring of taxes, allows quick write offs on construction costs.

Exactly, who are the customers, outside of the investors? How long are the contracts? How does the gas glut impact prices ? Given the Iran war and Qatar's facilities need to be rebuilt there's a very short-term opportunity.
