It took Walgreens (my now old pharmacy) A MONTH, and at least 5 phone calls, to tell me they couldn't wholesale a particular pill for me. It took Costco 7 minutes to set up my new pharm profile, confirm they carry the specific pill I need, and get refills running for 6 other things.
