Heads up. Don't submit to CRAN right now. The CRAN submission system is currently broken, because Windows checks won't complete. If you submit your package will end up in the manual "inspection" queue. You'll see the same on win-builder R devel and R 4.6.1. The R 4.5.3 still works. #RStats

This release is cool for a lot of reasons but my favorite is that the new Observable does database access with ADBC and returns results as Arrow. And, as a bonus, it uses @columnar.tech 's dbc (dbc.how) to install drivers.

My favorite Safari feature is how it auto-completes the URL you want to go to and then, mere milliseconds later, gets shy and removes the auto-completion, so my Google history is filled with a bunch of insane searches for two- and three-letter prefixes.

Apparently 14 years ago today I was in the village of Emmonak on the Yukon River taking pictures with a GoPro at 7:30 PM with the sun still high in the sky. This trip by itself was an incredible experience but so has the last 14 years.
