There’s something startling about getting active advice and feedback from your medical professionals. Like my therapist deciding twenty minutes into the session that she needs to give me a cognitive test. Or my GP not-so-subtly implying that o need to get laid.

WHO IN THE EVERLIVING FUCK HATED THIS GAME? It was shockingly sweet and romantic, it had some twists and turns, every actor turned in an amazing performance, and on top of all that, I got to be Wolverine and hack the limbs off bigots. This was unleaded entertainment. I was hooked stem to stern.

There's a really important thing we need to talk about. I'm a fat ginger. I struggle to not be gross, and when my mental health takes a nosedive, there's a lot of failure on that particular thing... and then I feel guilty, and shameful, and things can spiral pretty fast.
