A daily reminder that significant specimens are constantly being illegally trafficked. Right now, on eBay and various auction sites, one can find Chinese paravians and psittacosaurs, Burmese paravians, teeth and bones from Niger, and-in this instance-part of a Spicomellus

Really taken with Haolong dongi, out today from Jiandong Huang, Pascal Godefroit and team. Just submitted news article on it. An iguanodontian with abundant hollow spikes across the neck and body, projecting from among conventional basement scales, and with rows of plate-like scales along the tail.

A little #FossilFriday mystery from the Hell Creek for you other experts. I found this in a bunch of pieces trailing down the outcrop. What is it? Smooth on the underside, horns. Sutures? Definitely not Pachycephalosaurus, can't place it on a ceratopsian either. 🦕🧪

I made another discovery today: a new (old) instance of the Demonic Elongated Quetzalcoatlus! And It's attacking London! Apparently it is from Look and Learn, a British educational magazine for children published in 1982.
A surreal demon Quetzalcoatlus looms above a scene of Brits fighting off some very nightmarish wrinkly green theropods while a red carnosaur of some description harasses a double-decker bus.
