It may not be the point, but it boils my blood when people say cyclists don’t NEED to use Bloor St. It’s literally the only street w bike lanes that crosses the whole city. No other major east-west street has bike lanes. Adelaide / Richmond St only cover downtown. Cyclists have to get places too! 😤

I started biking b/c it was the cheapest option - compared to driving or the TTC. I continue to cycle b/c it's the fastest option against all other modes of transport. If the TTC was faster, maybe I'd take it, but right now it's not even close. When I do take transit, it's a GO Train out of Toronto.

We were on a section of the Nine Creeks Trail yesterday! We biked from Burlington (stayed overnight for a wedding) to Mississauga (post wedding day hangout), and the Nine Creeks Trail goes right past our friend's house in Mississauga. Very convenient!

Question: Would you support changes to Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport? This could include optimizing airport infrastructure (including changes to runways), allowing for different aircraft types, generating economic development and job creation, improving connectivity, increasing passenger flow, etc.

Answer: NO. Wow, this survey is already super biased - pitching the "changes" as only economic benefits. The environmental affects of these changes would be disastrous. Pollution of all kinds (air, water, noise) would threaten Toronto and the health of anyone who lives here. So NO, I don't support the changes.

Kinda covert? The new policy is confusing - there’s now a bike baggage fee but we only paid for regular luggage since Bromptons fit. So to make them look less like bikes, we put covers on. However, turns out the bike fee is not in addition to the luggage fee, so we could’ve just bought bike tix.
