This is a Southern Moon Moth (Dasypodia selenophora)! I have called them Bogongs all my life, but this W.A. inhabitant is not a bogong. 🙀 I am very glad to hear the undifferentiated Eastern States populations have made a recovery of the actual Bogong (Agrotis infusa).

By restricting the sharpness and depth of vision, I imagine it is reducing the server side load and hence Blizz costs. This is 2026. Some ppl pay $2000 for a graphics card. They expect to use it. Not continuing my sub for this rubbish. Almost 20 years worth.

I have unsubbed. There are ppl whose sense of aesthetics is in the toilet saying it is beautiful. Beautiful is the graphics underneath the washed out layer of cloud. Somehow must be advantageous to Blizz to shove fog generation client side - big hit to fps.

About WoW Forever. It looked promising, but a recent update disabled the ability to turn off the 'fog' /console volumeFog 0. If you wear glasses, imagine someone takes them and smears a thin layer of snot on them. That is what the 'fog' looks like. @blizzard.com Was beautiful while it lasted.
