Yet post retirement is associated with a rise in wellbeing, as people have the space to spend time on activities that give meaning to their lives. Caring for family & friends, many forms of community activity & volunteering, new creative work and learning, caring for nature etc. #LifeAfterWork

Access to culture is a right, not a privilege. Keeping museums free means millions can continue to explore, learn and be inspired, regardless of their background or income. That's good for London, and good for ensuring cost is never a barrier to discovery.

Londoners do value our rivers and want to see them restored to health. There's a certain amount we can do as volunteers. But for pollution the data from citizen scientists must be valued & acted on. A strategic vision is needed to bring our actions together with real impact.

It's been so sad to see our trees suffering in this year's drought. We need a concerted campaign across London, particularly to protect saplings during long rainless periods. Volunteers do a lot but LAs have to pick up a stronger role

This is a really hard time for #waterbirds They are hungry. Much of the natural foods they rely on are scarce.You can help! All healthy food is welcome. For birds feeding on land, peas, sweetcorn & lettuce give them refreshing liquid as well as nourishment. Duck granules are great. #ClimateChange
