TF2 tip! To avoid people joining on you when you load up a map solo:
Go to Team Fortess 2/ tf/cfg
If you don't have one, create an autoexec.cfg and open it in a text editor, add the line
"sv_use_steam_networking 0"
Save that, and when TF2 opens, it will automatically turn that feature off.
