Played this today. Definitely super enjoyable so far! Some pretty frustrating interface problems, but the balance of what the game tells vs. what you have to figure out is fantastic, and there are lots of awesome little gameplay details that are really enjoyable on a strategic level.

I agree, and fuck generative AI, and support real creators, and send nudes to your friends, and those ads are weird and creepy and not hot at all, BUT... a "customize your slut"-style ad once made me laugh so hard I choked and I had to download the ad to clip that part to use on my streams.

I guess as in other than the one I attend. Could also come from growing up in a small town. Everyone knew everyone in my church; if someone new came, EVERYONE would notice. If they offer tours, then all bets are off, I'd go to any denomination/religion as a tourist :p

I did read it, and it's actually not negative. They are reporting favorably on his choices as mayor, recognizing that it is the accumulation of a bunch of little annoyances that can really mess with someone's life, and acknowledging that this will earn him the goodwill and support for bigger swings.

Me too! I'm also glad it took this long. For a while, D&D culture leaned into a kind of wholesome optimism that I don't think would have done the setting justice. Dark Sun is an ugly world full of racism and tyranny and injustice, and I worry it would have been pretty declawed in 2019.
