There's a reason previous Liberal governments looked at privatizing airports and didn't go through with it. Private investors don't want a stake in our public assets to make them better. They’re in it to make as much money as possible for themselves - while workers and passengers pay the price.

8 years ago, I tweeted side-by-side maps from NASA GISS showing global temperatures in 1976 and 2018 – both hot summers in the UK. It subsequently went viral and was printed in the Daily Mail! The 2026 version is stark. Two locally extreme summers separated by 50 years of global climate change.

Hero story: The people in Collins First Nation had minutes to escape the wildfire. 13-year-old Chance Paavola was piloting an emergency escape vessel when he saw an overcrowded boat on the verge of sinking. He turned back, helped save the passengers just before the flames closed in.

The reason a real say isn't being given into the placement of AI Datacentres is that these won't stand up to the scrutiny of environmental assessments, or even economic assessments for profitability. Sask Gov requires an ecological study for a solar array, but not a huge gas plant! #skpoli
