My favorite addition to this comic was someone saying "hmmmmm as long as he's being responsible i guess it's fine" and me being like "if only there was some kind of slogan about power and responsibility"

I sometimes wonder how much of D&D's staying power is that it creates the opportunity for roleplaying but the design doesn't really *require* that it happen. (I also sometimes wonder if 4E's big challenge was that it failed to obscure this well enough)

Beside imposing severe rules on women, new laws require men to grow fist-length beards and bar them from imitating non-Muslims in appearance or behavior.

Absolutely nobody asked for this but I reformatted my animal yeetability thread into printable poster & zine files. Introducing, the "Pocket Guide to Responsible & Sustainable Animal YEETING" featuring a revamped rating system. Download links below.
Poster showing various animals and their yeetability rating. For full rating, see the link in the reply. Intro text reads:

POCKET GUIDE TO RESPONSIBLE & SUSTAINABLE ANIMAL YEETING
by franzanth

In this context, YEETING is defined as the act of throwing a “projectile” at a slightly upward angle with low initial velocity. The goal here is relocation, not destruction. Therefore, YEETING is ideally performed toward soft surfaces like leaves to minimize downward acceleration that might result in said projectile's discomfort.

+1 for The San Antonio Express News lmao
A screenshot of a tweet from San Antonio’s local newspaper, The Express News (@ExpressNews). The text reads, “Sen. Rafael Edward Cruz, who uses the preferred name Ted, has introduced a bill to limit the use of preferred names and pronouns.” Below the text is a link card featuring a photo of the aforementioned Cancun-loving demagogue, holding a microphone up to his undeniably punchable face.

In the world of D&D there is every incentive for human criminals to blame their crimes on dangerous monsters everyone knows exist, even going as far as making elaborate costumes and using magic. What I’m saying is that Scooby Doo is a perfectly viable and underused campaign concept.

This sums up most of my work over the last decade or so. Walker Ashley (NIU) and myself have been working on the tornado issue in the Mid-South. The problem is dynamic, multifaceted, and not easy to solve. This graphic helps explain the multitude of factors that overlap to create tornado disaster.

Top left, Indy holding an artifact: "It belongs in a museum." Top right response from Miriam, smiling: "In its country of origin, right?"

Bottom left, Indy holding an artifact and saying nothing. Bottom right response from Miriam, no longer smiling: "In its country of origin, right?"

Seattle will also be in a similar state (though PDX often gets warmer). But it's going to be beastly in both, especially for cities where AC at home is uncommon.
