Why not just literally write on scraps of paper "impeach" or "don't impeach" like this is a trivial problem

I think distance + weather matter too. the kids and teens in my neighborhood seem to love their e-bikes. I think if school or your friend's house is 2 miles away biking can be a push during the hot summer, but an ebike means you show up not drenched in sweat so the kids bike.

The picture of wide-eyed Elizabeth Holmes from the upcoming movie You Can See Everything, recreated with Vivec. It's drawn in watercolor and captioned "why would I deceive you?"

Yeah I really don't get why we've all regressed as a society in just calling out when people are plainly lying? Emily Bender is plainly lying. It's extremely obvious she doesn't believe any of this. It's ok to grant the principle of charity but you can't, in the process, make yourself a rube.

I really don't think so? I've had quite a bit of work done on my home in the past ~3 years and I'm fairly certain approximately zero of the workers that weren't electricians were in a union.

A lot of this is the general sequence motifs of repetitive DNA: for example transposons and other repetitive sequences in plants tend to be CG, CHH, or CHG (where H = "anything but Guanine"). And repetitive DNA is most of the genome, generally.

we could solve the western water crisis overnight by simply charging alfalfa farmers market rates for water
Across the basin, alfalfa hay uses more than 5 million acre-feet of Colorado River water — that's 26% of all the water consumed in the basin. One acre-foot roughly equals the annual water use of two or three households.
In the Upper Basin, irrigated agriculture consumes 2.8 million acre-feet, or nearly half the water used by Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming, the environment, reservoirs and water exports out of the basin. Cattle-feed crops, like alfalfa, consume 90% of all water used by Upper Basin agriculture.
That means alfalfa uses more water than cities, commercial users and industries across the entire basin:
Collectively, these users consume about 3.5 million acre-feet, or 18%, of the river's water. The Colorado River

I'm glad you think and care about balance in your single player titles, because many seem to think it doesn't matter at all. E.g. Control resonant, despite being a good game, has been frustrating me because of a clear lack of concern for balance.

I wonder what percentage of the population would correctly answer the question "who pays more for water, data center owners, or farmers?" You might think "the question is under defined, you need some sort of 'per unit' to make this fair" actually you don't, because in general farmers pay literally 0

It absolutely is, but it's a big hit in the "america B" sense, with the kind of people who carry, say, 9-1-1 Nashville's viewership numbers. The author of that ragebait article just wants you to like, be forced to respect it artistically or something for some reason.

I like my VW id4 but I'd probably recommend the ioniq 5 over it. The ICCU issue is still unfixed, so road trips are a hard "never ever" in any Kia/Hyundai EV, but otherwise they're great.
