I watched a panto with Brian Cant in it (don’t recall what character he was playing). He was a lovely man. He was also a silly man. Which I shouted to him. From the first row of the audience. When he was in the middle of performing. I hope he enjoyed being heckled by a 5 year old. I imagine he did.

Yes, it would drive any reasonable person batty I think. Neighbour stuff is hard because nobody wants to risk inciting a pile on, but everyone suffers on in exasperated silence. Hard to know if/ how best to approach, but sometimes a kind “we’re not sure if you’re aware of the impact” can work well.

(In my neck of t’woods, the world title holder of this is my neighbour, who is retired and selfish so constantly either banging/ grinding stuff, strimming or whistling.
