Heads-up on PPSSPP. Info in the thread on the last versions that don't contain it. The dev has gone off the deep end into Claude is my best friend territory.

Holy crap! There's an intense anti-war Chinese film coming out next week here that touch some really intense subject about the US wars in the middle east. It's showing in select theaters where I am. www.youtube.com/watch?v=iHDN...

Here's my priors: you're a dweeb and you suck

Shady Inference 🌫️ @blot.city · 18h

The assertion is that I'm a very smart boy so everything I say is probably an outcome of me using my very smart brain in very smart ways, even if I can't actually describe the precise series of steps that I used to produce my very smart output. Trust me bro. Who's at the blue sky company you or me

Shady Inference 🌫️ @blot.city · 18h

Since this one might be even more esoteric than usual: "bayesian priors", "reassess your priors", just "priors", etc is a rationalism thing and their use of this language is an aesthetic gesture to imply that any belief or position they articulate is mathematically determined and empirically precise

Shady Inference 🌫️ @blot.city · 18h

"Reassess your priors" lmfao. Idk why I figured Aaron was just a useful weirdo and not one of the I Will Defeat Entropy With Harry Potter Fanfiction And Then You'll Come Crawling Back guys but lol. There it is dude.

Getting tired of untested vibecoded ports that are just buggy and because no experienced coders are around, they can't fix it? Never fear, as I have listed decomps and recomps done by actual people and it will continue expanding! If you know any, lemme know!

Which is of course nonsense. These people rule the world and they know it. Bad time for freaks who love to do I'm Just A Little Guy with one mouth and I Feel Like Racial Darth Vader with the other.

New(?) nazi tactic I don't like is when they say "calling me a nazi is a death threat", the implication being that there is a reliably actioned hegemonic consensus that nazis ought to meet with such an outcome

I think if I have any kind of a specific desired goal at this point it is to become much more uninhibited in how I write. Which I think I am accepting might be a long way off.

See I can't tell at all whether I am editing myself down on here or I'm so compositionally stunted that this format is what I've become suited to and now I'm trying to it backwards. But I guess either way I still should keep journaling and doing whatever and see what I can find out
