I strongly suspect that the biggest single positive impact of my life will turn out to be figuring out (from similar sources) that I have ADHD, so that the rest of my family (inc. the next generation) could get diagnosed, and MUCH sooner. People underestimate how much sabotage it does in a life.

fun fact: one of the things that made me decide "no, I will get an actual diagnosis", rather than just assuming, was the subtitle of a thread about ADHD on the SomethingAwful forums because it hit so hard it hurt it was along the lines of "if you were lazy, you would be having fun"

Dammit, the Moon is doing a spectacular thing and as usual, it will not fit in my camera at all.

View over tan plains with cholla and distant blue mountains. The sky is blue but pink where the Belt of Venus hits. The moon is vanishing into clouds that cannot be seen as anything but the same shade of blue, and thus looks like a lidded eye.

I've had to unfriend a few fans lately, all for the same reason. They made ridiculing, unkind, and in some cases outright cruel comments about pictures I posted of young women cosplaying Jessica.
More than a person, Jessica is a state of mind. To play Jessica, you need self -confidence, a sense of humor, and a Jessican -attitude-. There is no such thing as a Jessica cosplayer being too short, too flat chested, too heavy, too thin, too unattractive, too black, too Asian, or even too male!!! The exclamation points are pulling double duty as big anime eyes for a profoundly kawaii smiley face.

They have a decepticon decal on their left shoulder and extremely cutieful door wings!!!
