It's an honor when people share photos of my art hanging on their walls. This is a really cute feedback collage from a client, showing my painting commission hung up in their home! Look at that transformer collection! #transformers #nessart13

Photo collage showcasing the recent painting I did. There's a photo of the painting commission hanging on the wall surrounded by a transformer collection. There is a sweet review by the clients as well.

Hello all! I'm Kris, from Hamilton, Ontario! I make art of of pop culture stuff I grew up on through the 80's, 90's & 00's (heavy focus on Transformers, lol) (also I used to make the Transformers: Igniton fancomic back in the day if anyone remembers it.)

Trailbreaker and Optimus Prime from the original Transformers cartoon.

Hordak, He-Man, and Skeletor from the original Masters of the Universe toyline.

A random fact...hmmmm Guitarist #7 from Slipknot offered to buy my old car in 2004 to use for his backyard demolition derby he had going on. It was a joke, I live in a different country, but he went on about that car being the right kind of shitbeater to crash around in.

parts I needed to replicate. The rawness in my emotions was unnerving to catch in a screenshot. Weird to see on film. Weirder to paint. It felt fake from this external perspective despite it all being real.

Ness 🦇 Bats in the Belfry Art @bitba.bsky.social · 03/12/2024

Ooooooh tough!!! Not weird in a normal sense, but like I needed to take photo refs of myself in deep sadness for a project. It involved videotaping myself as I read things, knowing what I read would upset me/elicit reactions, to catch the abrupt sad on film so I could screencap the +

Ness 🦇 Bats in the Belfry Art @bitba.bsky.social · 03/12/2024

Ooooooh that's TOUGH. Like if it's just for me, and I need to get my head on straight, it's "Perseverance" by Hatebreed. But if I'm going to a party/requesting a favorite song, I'd go with "Sure shot" by Beastie Boys or "Ruby Soho" by Rancid

Ness 🦇 Bats in the Belfry Art @bitba.bsky.social · 03/12/2024

Oh no lol To keep it simple I'll keep it transformers version lol. I'll have to say Soundwave. Every design he's had, have been awesome. I rarely have complaints about his canon lines and drawing him is almost second nature now, I draw him often.

120

Ness 🦇 Bats in the Belfry Art @bitba.bsky.social · 03/12/2024

Lots of straight perfect lines. It's like the second my brain registers how important it is to not fuck up this line right now as I'm inking it.....I suddenly hesitate with the line I'm making, causing a visible bump in that near perfect line. That I now have to fix somehow lol.

I've been yelled at for not drawing my OCs enough. Started this a while back for a challenge that long passed. Decided to take it a different direction. Working on it as a wind down the past couple days.
