I will never cease to be amazed by books. Seriously. Just think about it; thousands of people read the same book, but in everyone’s brain’s the characters look different, the setting changes etc. We are all reading the same thing, but it's so unique to each of us. That is a beautiful thing.

This article should be read by everyone. It highlights that the productivity that made the 1% super-rich has actually made the working class, who is responsible for said productivity, poorer. If salaries had kept pace with what happened in the 70s, workers would be making much more than $15 an hour.

We should have done monthly stimulus checks as an emergency universal basic income instead of all the trillions of dollars that we spent on stuff like this instead of stimulus checks. Better yet, we should have already had universal basic income in place prior to Covid along with Medicare for All.
