Desert Bus for Hope 🚌 #DB2026 OCTOBER 23rd @desertbus.org · 08/10/2026

Cracked a pack and got this, what do?

Did you know it's our 20th marathon? That's not a golden anniversary, but we couldn't change the colour of this card. Seems like like a little bit of an oversight, don't you think? And yes, we know this the twentieth annual marathon, but "only" the 19th year. Anyways, please join us at desertbus.org or twitch.tv/desertbus on October 23rd at 4PM, Pacific. We going to be raising a ton of money for Child's Play Charity. They're a really cool organization that helps children manage the stress and anxiety of being in a hospital through video games. Not specifically the game we'll be playing, which is pretty boring, but like, you know, good ones. They got probably a Zelda or Mario in there, I'd wager. Speaking of, this year's run is earlier this year mostly we could all play the Ocarina of Time Remake afterwards. Wow, for not letting us pick a colour, they certainly did let us cram a lot of text in this space. I wonder how small the font is at this point, and what the maximum length is. Don't worry, all this rambling is going in the alt text of this image. Hrm, kinda ran out of steam there at the end. I should go. See you in a couple weeks.

Hello everyone, I’m pleased to present my original artwork for Forest Tentacle Token from Reality Fracture set . The uniqueness lies in the fact that the original art for the card was drawn on artist proof. Hi #portfolioday ! I'm Liiga and I do freelance illustration. My focus is on dreamlike imagery and spells, though I'm no stranger to characters and the occasional scenery. I've done work for Magic: The Gathering, Android:Netrunner, Bella Sara etc. 🎨 liiga.artstation.com ✉️ smilshkalne@hotmail.com

Illustration for the card "Magma Opus" shows a giant spell in the shape of an elephant that aggressively combines ice and fire magic.

A drawing of a rabbit standing in the middle of a whole lot of sweet peas that have started growing over massive swords impaled into the ground.

A giant green "flower" explodes atop of a tall mountain and streams of green mana wash down its side, sprouting star flowers as they go.

An illustration of the big bad of Magic's Duskmourn set, Valgavoth, enmothifying literally everything. There's a planet inside golden threads and the oceans of the planet are in the shape of a hand and a face pressed against a round glass marble. Going outwards, moths shaped a little like nebulae fly out of their golden 'cocoons', leaving glitchy trails in their wake.

I love when fantasy series have a dude called something like Stephen the All-Seeing, Keeper of the Demon Sword, hero of the Volcano Age. But in some tiny village, he's known as Bees Steve, that weird guy who loves beekeeping. The more uppercase titles the legend has, the funnier the contrast is.

So yesterday was my birthday, I kept putting off posting after work last night bc tired, but I’m still taking my yearly allowance of begging for a reblog or two, please sir~ #art

Digital art of a huge dragon looming over the horizon, the night sky and a bright full moon silhouetting its dark form. Its wings are unfurling, disturbing the clouds at the skyline, wisps of them trailing from the movement. Its long neck is curled close, head pointing down, the one visible eye glowing bright. Its body is largely without visible detail except for some ridges down the neck and back, its horns, and some scale/feather looking protrusions. Rolling grassy hills are darkest further away, with more detail and some barely visible flowers as they near closer to the viewer. In the foreground are blurred pieces of grass and dust disturbed by the dragon.

A digital art of a long serpentine dragon with many wings, curled around a black hole in space with stars and nebulas in the background

Digital art of a dragon, taking up so much of the frame only the head is visible, its silhouette lined with spikes. The dragon is black with a few streaks of visible scales ranging from orange at the brightest to very dark blue. The dragon’s eye is a black hole, with a glowing yellow pupil visible in the center. The background behind the dragon is a starry backdrop, some of the stars distorted and swirling towards the center of the piece, with a glowing aura around the dragon in different colors. In the foreground there are some barely visible blurred bits of light.

Digital art of a long serpentine dragon with four limbs and no wings. The body is made of ice, partially transparent and reflecting blues, purples and yellows on different facets. The chest area is more transparent, showing a burning flame where the heart should be. The dragon’s breath comes out in a misty cloud with stylized stars, its body shedding flakes of ice and snow. The background is dark blue and purple with some soft light reflections and stars.

Why can I only get myself to work 2 days before deadline?? 😭 (1/2)

Panel 1

now & not now in ADHD

At the top, a white silhouette stands beside a long timeline stretching far into the distance. A pink arrow runs almost the entire length of the timeline, illustrating how far into the future many people can perceive. The text explains that other people are often able to see and plan for events that are still far away.

Below, the ADHD Alien character stands beside a much shorter visible section of a timeline. A large cloud covers most of the future, leaving only a small portion visible directly in front of her. The text explains that with ADHD, she often perceives only the immediate “now.” The future exists, but much of it feels hidden behind a mental fog.

At the bottom, a glowing star accompanies text explaining that it can be difficult to start a task when the deadline is still outside the visible time horizon. The cloud serves as a metaphor for future events that are technically there but do not feel real, urgent, or motivating until they come much closer.

Panel 2

At the top, the ADHD Alien character looks exhausted and discouraged beside a timeline that disappears behind a large cloud. A glowing star representing a reward or deadline sits behind the cloud and outside her visible range. The text explains that when a reward or deadline is not within her time horizon, it is difficult to begin a task or stay motivated.

Below, the character suddenly appears excited and energized. This time, a glowing star is visible in front of the cloud, within the small area she can clearly perceive. An arrow points toward the star as the text explains that when something rewarding is within her time horizon, it naturally becomes the focus of her motivation and attention.

A final note explains that the rewarding thing is usually not the task she was originally supposed to be doing. The comic highlights how immediate rewards often overpower distant goals, even when the distant goal is objectively more important.

They’re packaging it like this so it looks like a shallow trend, but Gen Z has gone through two financial crises, a pandemic, rising fascism, active shooter drills since they were toddlers, and are now being told by the oligarchy they’re to be replaced by robots. Socialism is the logical conclusion.

My birthday is this week! 🎂 As they say, the best gift you can give an artist for their birthday is a RT of their work. 🔁 #Art #DigitalArt #FantasyArt #Dragons

Illustration: Sunrise Dragon (fantasy illustration)

Digital artwork of a dragon's neck and head. Its scales are primarily colored a light sky blue, and its spikes and horns are gold. Many of its scales also have bright magenta regions. Its eyes are a shiny black.

Its long neck its twisted in a snake-like position, with its head facing left. Its teeth are visible on the outside of its lips, much like crocodile teeth, and its snout is tipped in a bone-like beak structure. Two of its top teeth are especially long and tusk-like, curving outwards from either side of the head. The dragon has 3 pairs of horns, the longest and thickest of which is the highest pair on the back of the head. A thick but short spike, similar in appearance to the horns, is located on the side of the head, near the back of the jaw.

3 rows of spines extend down the creature's neck, and each spine is gold in color, with a magenta base. The center row of spines is significantly taller than the others, and each spine of this row is lobed in the center. Each lobe is patterned with white and purple spots.

The dragon's environment is a cloud scene at sunrise. It consists of pastel pinks and pale purples. Some sky blue is also visible at the top of the illustration, and in the rightmost top corner the sky fades to navy blue. In front of the dragon, some pink clouds form a circular shape that frames the creature's face.

Creature Concept: Southern Quilled Seraph (fictional avianoid)

Digitally drawn concept art of a bird-like monster design. The creature faces right on a dark plane. It is sitting with its wings partially folded, but still somewhat slack. Its long tail twists upwards behind it.

Its beak and two-toed feet are yellow in color, and its eyes are bright green. Most of the feathers on its body are a warm grey shade, with a broad red stripe down its back and tail. Additionally, there is a large patch of red in the center of itis chest. Its wing feathers, as well as some scattered feathers across its body, are a shiny iridescent black. It has a bright red wattle on the underside of its head, which is patterned with black markings.

Porcupine-like quills sprout from beneath the feathers on the monster's back, as well as the backs of its wings. Along its twisted tail there are 3 more (shorter) wing-like appendages. The head has two pairs of eyes; one is large, and located on the side of the head, and the other is small, and faces forwards from a hole on the from side of the beak.

The beak is toothed, like a goose's beak, as is the animal's tongue. The beak also has a large Smilodon-like fang growth on each side. On the bottom half of the beak, a patterned crest sprouts and curves backwards between the fangs. Above the front pair of eyes on the beak, there are hornbill-like growths that shade the eyes.

Creature Concept: Northern Dragon

A white dragon sits up on a snowy tundra plain. Black rocks litter the ground, and grey clouds cover the skies, which are grey with blizzard clouds. Beneath the dragon's front claw is a human skull.

The dragon has folded pterodactyl-like wings with hairy claws for fingers. Its back legs are also fluffy, and look much like the talons of a snowy owl. 3 horns grow from the dragon's head; 2 short ones from the back, and 1 longer, forked one from the center. The tail ends in a triangular barb made from the same material as the horns, and sensory bristles stick out from the length of the tail like whiskers. Similar whiskers, only shorter, are found on the cheeks and the tips of the ears.

Creature Concept: Baldhart the Black Flame (fire dragon)

Digital artwork of a black dragon with a dull red head, neck, and chest, facing left. It stands on a bluish mirror-like surface that is lit up with streaks of blue light.

Its wings are a purplish tag color, and huge compared with the rest of its body. Its tail is also elongate, and is patterned with rows of spiky barbs that can also be found on its neck.

3 pairs of horns grow from its head, two on the top, and one that curves around like a tusk on the back of its jaw. A short beard of black fur grows from the bottom of its head, longest under the tip of the chin.
