Am I tempted to buy things at Michael’s due to the interesting Celestial Park vibe of some of their Halloween decor? Yes. But will I? Alas no…where would I even put it at this point!?!? Gotta save room for the real deal stuff….

Reading has become an endangered species. Which is half the problem with American political life. Maybe more than half. If you can't read, you can't think. Then you can fall for anything. The idea, for instance, that the truth is fake news.

if you believe in yourself you can work within the existing constraints imposed upon you to, in some cases, accomplish a subset of your dreams www.qwantz.com/index.php?co...

Off panel: If you believe in yourself, you can do anything!
T-Rex: ...I can?

T-Rex: I CAN?!?

T-Rex: Okay Dromiceiomimus, I believe in myself, utterly and completely, and what I want to do with that belief is get boats for hands so I can walk around and say "wow, these boats sure are handy".
T-Rex: HAND-y, Dromiceiomimus.
Dromiceiomimus: I got it, yeah. I guess we COULD make some boat-shaped gloves that -
T-Rex: NO! They have to be REAL.

Utahraptor: You want to cut off your hands and replace them with ACTUAL full-sized boats?
T-Rex: I believe in myself!

T-Rex: BUT: they still have to work as hands too. They must be actual boats that are also flesh and allow me sensation.
Utahraptor: How about this: if you believe in yourself, you can do SOME things, not all things. Perhaps not even MOST things.

Off panel: But you can do approximately as many things - and perhaps even slightly more - than you could if you DIDN'T believe in yourself.
T-Rex: Okay you know what that's actually WAY more reasonable

I visited Universal Kids Resort this morning. It had a different vibe from most weekdays, with bigger crowds and more energy. I'm not saying it was the weather that did it, but it was the first time in months the sun wasn't cranked up to 11. Link: diservations.com/cooler-weath...
