Nothing like riding in a hailstorm to really make you feel alive!

I feel like I should clarify that *I* like riding in the rain. But I’m not entirely sure my laptop enjoys it as much as I do.

There's a reason why Somerville hasn't had a traffic death in 4 years. The city isn't perfect, but they've made a concerted effort to design many streets around people and not cars. You can still drive, but you're going to have to do so slowly and while paying attention.

Somerville is intentionally making roads harder to drive on. It’s getting results. - The Boston Globe
To make roads safer, the city says, sometimes you have to put some obstacles in drivers' way.

When they get back in power, Democrats need to go all-in on higher education. We need a campaign of reinvestment in public universities across the country that makes the Morrill Land-Grant Act look like nothing by comparison *and* a GI Bill of Rights-style program of tuition grants.

Been doing a lot of 6 minutes car drives as 9 minute bike rides and 12 minute car rides as 18 minute bike rides. The “lost” time is nothing compared with not having to park or know the price of gas, and instead getting to know where the egrets hang out!! 🌎 🙌🏻💕
