The "largest rollback of environmental laws in American history" is being led by @heinrich.senate.gov & @whitehouse.senate.gov. They apparently have drunk the oil industry Kool-Aid that the only way to "build things" is to cut public involvement & gut laws that protect our communities, air, & water.

I once got to have lunch with David Brower, Julia Butterfly, and a few other young environmental activists who were making waves in the early 2000s. He said to us, "The mission of your generation must be restoration." I think he would be thrilled by this news.

This is so good to hear. Mrs. Green and I rode the new share bikes to Hollande's inagauration party at the Hôtel de Ville on 15 May 2012. We almost got killed a few time riding bikes in the streets. Cars dominated the city back then. I remember biking through pollution.
