They said "I don't use chatgpt", not "I don't use AI", and there's clearly a massive difference between using spellcheck/SwiftKeys and having chatgpt generate your email from whole cloth. Like when people say "I don't use AI" in this context they mean "I don't use LLMs to do my thinking for me"
