Fascinating look at the tangled legacies of colonialism. DRC wants colonial-era geological surveys so a Bill Gates-backed mining/AI firm can digitize them. The Belgian museum won't release them as it's already doing so. Trump II is now applying pressure as part of its resource grab. No good guys.
