👀 Eyes down! This is for fun, but also to remind you that: 1) it's not just you feeling this way. 2) that there are ups and downs (+ not just in our glucose levels). Some days things will feel easier + some days we'll be on the 🎢 This is a normal, albeit difficult, part of living with #type1diabetes

For profit healthcare, including private health insurance is an absolute nightmare. Eldest child was DXd with type 1 diabetes at age 9. She's 22 now. To my shame, I cheered when I saw the assassination of UNHs CEO. Our system is great if you never use it. Please hold on to the NHS.

If you live with t1d, you'll be making an extra 180 decisions daily compared to someone without t1d. This means your tiredness, mental load & burnout will all have the potential to be higher than someone not managing this funky health gig. Are there any you'd add? #Type1Diabetes #Type1LooksLikeMe
