One of the few moments where I feel like King County feels like the Netherlands. On the Cedar River Trail well far from the city center, is this really nice Saris bike work stand. Surrounded by pretty much nothing. Imagine if you're the cyclist who ends up getting saved by this!

If people are already doing that then I'm happy and not needed! I'm looking to target the average person. Adding that one hour of trying a new trail or finally taking on your commute and getting rid of one car trip. Not everything is zero or one but iterative progress is where we thrive

In all my experience I've found that the main reason why people don't ride bikes more is because they don't feel it's safe to do so. Flats are annoying but people tend to find solutions for their own use cases quickly whereas the environment is harder to control.

Yeah... Though tbh a lot of well utilized metros don't allow bikes during even rush hour. Vancouver being a prime example so I get it in one sense. At least they've put up some more options but this is where I will unashamedly advertise why I love my Brompton so much

Love the belt drive and the pinion smart shift. Bit of quirks using a rear hub torque sensor! Ample power and you get a throttle.
