iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

I’ve been having so much fun playing Plutomon! And I’m super grateful to have a community that will help me understand and pilot the deck better! ❤️

Round 3 I played a mirror with a much more talented Pluto pilot. He taught me a bunch of tricks I hadn’t caught yet. I made a misplay that would have costed the game, he had me rewind and walked me through the interaction to put me ahead. I took the match but we called it a tie.

Round 1 I made the mistake of evolving zombiePluto into titan+skull Baluchi. Opponent kept that stack suspended so I lost a lot of value that I wanted in the trash. Game 2 I bricked and hard slammed zombie. I hoped keeping their hand small would slow the game. They had 4 searchers in hand. 😅

Gears of War: E-Day is the latest game to become an unwilling participant in a culture war keeping people distracted and putting revenue in the pockets of rage baiters! The voluntary insomnia that these rage beaters display is one of the main ways this war persists.

Hey folks, there won't be an episode this week due to a sickness. 😔 Take care of yourselves this week and rest up!

Round 3 me and this Plutomon player were still really new to the deck and helped eachother notice small rulings. We kept showing eachother cards in hand (cause we misplayed and had to roll it back) but it meant there were no secrets! Just learning. It was silly fun!

000

Round 2 was an honest match though! Plutomon vs Plutomon! We took turns board wiping eachother every turn 🤣 ended up 1-1 and had to roll for the round.

Only had 4 people so we played round robin, the ravemon player got a lot of practice into Pluto which he said he needed. Honestly, he spent our match teaching me how to play plutomon while playing against it.

Yesterday I went by gamers heaven for a Digimon event!! Jack and I got some yummy drinks and got to partake in a scavenger hunt 😊 It was really cute seeing a tiny event at this little shop, I’ll have to keep an eye out for when they might do something else for the stuff I’m into!

Guys I REALLY enjoy Pokemon, and that one poster in Ash‘s room from the first episode of Pokémon

A poster depicting a paper cut out of Charmander, Squirtle and Bulbasaur in the style of the poster in Ash’s room in the first episode of Pokémon

It took me a while, but I’m getting the hang of this working from home thing. During my lunch break I enjoyed my front yard, a manzanita sol, and read enshitification. Life is really, really good right now. ❤️

Everybody keeps talking about how GTA 6 is going to be "huge." But, I still haven't heard anyone say the sentence "I am excited for GTA 6." Am I just in an insane bubble?

Very excited to see that we have a Digimon TCG ban list coming up. But I swear, if they ban one of the Garurumon cards over that jank madleo loop, before I even get my NSO deck fully built, I will NEVER forgive yall.

New kingdom hearts trailer makes me wish I knew what happened in the mobile games. I’m sure someone, somewhere, is popping off over Sora yelling “Sigurd!” In the new trailer.

We’re 2 sets into dual cards, and I think it’s official. All my current Digimon decks just can’t keep up. I’ll need to change to one of these larger “family archetypes” if I have any hope of getting more than one win a night. Titans look like they’ll be a blast next set!

Begging the SF Chron to be a little bit interested in _why_ Muni can struggle with reliability rather than just reporting it as a fact. It's like reporting the economy is bad without trying to explain why.

S.F. leaders promoted transit to the Golden Gate Bridge fireworks. It was a disaster

Waymos stalled. Heavy traffic congestion snarled Muni buses. And riders had to wait.
