I saw a tip to make savory oatmeal by heating it in broth/stock and I'm so excited to try it. Right now I use water and, probably because of it, oatmeal is so ass. "Use fruit." Unfortunately that just means there are explosions of too-intense flavor in a sea of bland, mushy ass.
