Did Amiga Power ever get around to reviewing this?

010

Hello, I'm a joke in an episode of Family Guy. I'm just saying what the thing is. Now I'm saying a second thing related to the first thing. And now I'm closing out the bit without any meaningful resolution or punchline.

A human-led decomp/recomp project is a labor of love by people who have to overcome technical challenges to make something special. It is to be lauded. An AI-led decomp/recomp project is labor of nothing by nobody who didn't have to anything except buy tokens. It is to be ignored and ridiculed

The situation gets even more fucked up when you discover that this game is an unlicensed clone of the Amiga puzzle-platformer, P.P. Hammer and his Pneumatic Weapon. (No, this is not a joke - look it up.)

I'm 40, I've only ever not lived with cats or kittens for maybe 3 accumulative years in my life. I've never had cats go for the overhang toilet paper

I was about to write a post about why overhang is better than underhang for toilet paper, but then I remembered that's what they want. If we're fighting about which way the toilet paper is hanging then we're not fighting about which combination of the Spice Girls are drift compatible.

So, does anybody want to play Parcheesi?

Maybe this makes me Old. But there is zero chance you'll ever see me inside one of those fucking things.

You could not pay me to get into a Waymo. There is no dollar amount.

Rogue AI agents ate the plums that were in the icebox that were earmarked for breakfast. No apology is forthcoming because we deny all culpability. They lack sentience so they did not care how delicious or cold the plums were. Give us $5 trillion dollars or this will happen again.

I recorded a scream and put it in a greetings card and now when I open the card it screams

A billion people are going to recommend you try WarioLand 4 on the GBA. They are, all of them, correct.

Silent Hill, much like Daddy, is a state of mind.

I'd love to do it as an animated series, and after season 3 is done I want to do a LucasArts style adventure game. I also think the premise would lend itself well to a TTRPG!

My favourite thing in this genre is the DVDs from the original Dead Rising, which until about a year ago were somehow completely undocumented online

Low res fake dvd cover for a movie called "Pulsating Garbage" depicting a disembodied eye above a garbage bag with a pair of crows silhouetted in the foreground

Low res fake dvd cover for a movie called "My Dog, The President". A golden retriever wearing glasses and a suit with a red bowtie stands at a lectern in front of an american flag

Low res fake dvd cover for a movie called "Laser Baron of Jupiter". A dorky guy in a weird ruffled pleather-looking jacket stands in front of Jupiter, wielding a bright purple ray gun in each hand

Low res fake dvd cover for a movie called "I Married My Own Pants!". A sad looking blonde man cradles his head in one hand. Behind him, a pair of disembodied sweatpants

The comic stopped because JjAR got busy! Which is a good problem for him to have had at the time. Genuinely don't know who I'd cast for a live-action version today. Back during the webcomic days I thought Dan Antopolski (Jeffers in Hyperdrive) would make a good Llewellyn.

Now feels like a good time to start a Jump Leads AMA. Want to ask me a question about Jump Leads? Do it now!

I have caught myself laughing about this multiple times today.

Neurotypical people will refuse to play a venue that doesn't give them a bowl of M&Ms with the brown ones taken out, but also won't mention it in the rider
