An aerial view of the Park Run course at Towneley Park. The shape is like a wonky angular figure of eight. Each lap is 2.5k long so runners go round the course twice to complete the race.

Husband and son enjoying a well earned rest at the cafe after the run. They are sat at the table smiling at each other. My son has a cup of sparkling berry juice which was quite expensive and apparently not even fizzy.

Post-run selfie. I have just finished the race, I do not want to discuss family finishing times that’s not what this is about. 🤪 I don’t notice my husband has photobombed until later. At least I got a shot of us all! 💕

Harrogate this weekend. What a lovely area, I really want to go back! Brimham Rocks were fantastic and boy did we eat well. 🤦🏻‍♀️

A small lone tree with no leaves and bare branches juts out of the dramatic limestone formation at Brimham Rocks, North Yorkshire.

I am standing on a boulder precipice overlooking Nidderdale, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty at Brimham Rocks in North Yorkshire. I have my back to the camera and the wind is making my hair wild, I almost look countrified but I am wearing bright pink trainers.

A breakfast bowl of fruit. Banana slices with desiccated coconut, blueberries, granola and a generous dollop of peanut butter sit atop of chilled açai. It was not what I expected when I ordered, (especially since I got mixed up with chia seeds and açai), but it was very delicious.

Thali is like Indian Tapas: a variety of Indian dishes served together in small portions.
This is the Vegan Thali from Cardamom Black in Harrogate. Bindi baji, lentil daal, ginger tofu curry, spinach and vegetable madras. The food was delicious and the portions were more generous than I anticipated which delighted me. I overate but have few regrets.
