Replayed kero blaster for the first time in years on my phone. Still great! Controls feel very dated and awkward, really easy to do mis-inputs, but the game is otherwise top notch. I even beat it without a game over for the first time!

Why do people think GTA6 will be “the last big AAA game?” Is it because of all the industry layoffs? Is GTA6 some sort of industry atom bomb? What about elder scrolls 6 or witcher 4? Do we believe those game won’t ever come out? Or does “big AAA game” mean something different from what I think?

blood dungeon made me think, how many games are there in the spelunky lineage? to be a spelunky game i feel like the game needs to be a platforming roguelike with no or minimal engine building qualities. i dont think there are many and most are old and somewhat forgotten. i wanna try and list them

gave the blood dungeon demo a try. it felt very vampire survivors and not especially platformer. the vampire survivors mechanics are pretty bog standard and they don't interact with the platforming at all (that ive seen in ~1 hour of playing). i guess i was hoping for something a bit more unique

I remember being so confused getting on the internet and seeing so much ire for sunshine, which is my favorite Mario game as well. It has some crap shines in it, but I love the atmosphere and freedom of movement you have. It’s the best Mario game to just run around in, and that’s saying something!
