All these food recalls remind me of a revelatory post from twitter in the "good ol' days." It was in a conversation around prepper culture and the male fantasy of stockpiling guns to protect their families. We’re running some load test alphas for DCKO (“Server Slam”) and as the social systems designer, I feel like this is probably the nicest result I could hope to see from a PvP playtest.

Something I think about occasionally is how the audience shifts throughout game development. Sure, we're building the game for players, and there's probably even a 'target audience' written out by a product manager somewhere. But for a lot of the dev cycle, the real customer is the publisher.

I’m on board with dunking on this Cheetos video over the obvious “yeah, junk food is food” but the thing that really bugs me is she’s making these faces when she’s 10x-ing the recipe! That’s at least a 32 oz glass and you’re showing off a 3oz bag. Yeah, we know there’s fat, but not that much!
