Son1 had decided to embrace his facial hair and wants to spend more time on grooming his beard. I said "you have to grow your moustache long enough to do little curlies at the ends" and he just replied "obviously", so this will be a fun adventure.

Over the last 2 years I've been too exhausted to be anything but overwhelmed by circumstances. As I've made small gains in energy levels (treating my anemia) I have found this week I have enough energy to be angry. This is great news for me. Less great for my brothers & son.

We grew up in the Phoenix metro area in a house that didn't have central air. We had a swamp cooler and in the summer my mom would pack all 4 of us in the car during her lunch break, take us to the library and leave us there while she went back to work.

I cannot wait for them to do away with the semi-annual time changes. I grew up in AZ and the time and seasons (hot, monsoon, and not hot) were more organic and less jarring than what we have now.

Son1 shared last night's dream with me: - a society whose economy was based on chocolate - literally chocolate bars as currency - tasked to stop chocolate crimes by a Big Boss named "Rojo Loco" - caught an embezzler at a hotel chain bc he was caught eating the little chocolates they set on the bed.

I've heard stories of dogs who love to watch Bluey, even dogs who normally ignore the TV. I decided to turn it on for Ellen while I was in a call with my sister and she has always ignored the noisy light box but is paying attention to bluey.
