2026 is the year I call it quits on backing indie ttrpg projects in kickstarter, backer kit, etc. Is it because of most of them are overdue by months to years? No. Lack of quality control of materials or sizes? Nope. It’s because of the lack of business common sense the industry has.

When your 20-something son strings lights on the tree we painted on the wall 4 years ago. Everyone was sleeping and I think he needed the holiday vibe and recognized that the rest of us needed it, too. I hope everyone finds a little joy during this winter season.
