Honestly, I do find it a little funny how the mid-2020s revivals for both MALCOLM IN THE MIDDLE and SCRUBS both bottom out to at least reasonably good and the OG versions of them are the big winners of that late-1990s/early-2000s era of sitcoms to my eyes. They definitely hold up for the most part.

Robin Hobb is my favorite fantasy author, top three at least (she's not fucking third), and she made sure to swing for brutal emotional swings, complex interpersonality, and heavy melancholy almost every step of the way, and she was doing that longer than most current writers are alive now.

So. I hate to do this. We were pulled over on the way back, it turns out we forgot to get the MOT after that lady hit us with her car. We are now without the car until we can get it sorted (it'll likely fail, too) and poor, so we could do with the money for the MOT and additional disability costs.

finally gave form to my Ethereal, Kazhir. i gotta type up his personality and such, but i've been putting off giving him a ref!

Lone-Strider Kazhir, a masculine ethereal that wears black, gold and purple attire fitted to his form. His bandages do not fully cover him as is shown by the head, ribs and arms. He has sharp fingers, similar to claws, and a dagger that he has resting on the back of his waist. Reshii Ribbons are also wrapped around his left arm.

The text below reads:
Born in Ma'nussa, to the nomads of the Wilds and Wastes of K'aresh, Kazhir was used to a hard life. To explore the wonders of the world was a joy none could replace. He found solace in exploration until the Wasting fell upon the world. To be shackled beneath the safety of the many city-states felt like a ticking bomb, and when the people K'aresh were splintered, he dared to believe his life as a nomad could still bear purpose. And so, he became a lead phase diver, and explored the new frontier and mysteries that were thrown upon him.

Simro, Guardian of the Archive #hollowknight #OC

Simro is a wasp based on the red paper wasps. They are a resident and guardian of the Archive, a fan-made location set in the Hollow Knight universe. The blood they spill is blue, signs of Lifeblood, and it is done so with a pen serving as a sword. They wear a cloak made of scrolls as the blood sprays across the screen.
