As a Quaker organization, our opposition to the death penalty is rooted in our belief in the inherent dignity of all people. We call on members of Congress to strongly denounce this execution and to act to abolish the death penalty for good.

A federal court has temporarily blocked providers from prescribing mife (one of the two meds typically used in a medication abortion) via telehealth. It’s important to know: - Miso can be used alone. - So many people are here to help. - We will win, eventually.

The goal here: recognize the untenable double-bind of women's lives under neoliberalism while opposing women's engagement in civic and economic life outside the household. It almost doesn't matter that these claims are false - they still achieve their purpose.

There were millions today. In part bc there were a dozen of you at that intersection that time, or every Tues, or after soccer. Or you stood alone with a sign at an overpass. Or your tiny town rallied around a detained woman, or 17 yo, or family. Your courage was contagious. Look what you did.

Governments want more babies. Are reproductive freedoms at risk?
Low fertility rates have sparked panic and pronatalist initiatives around the world. But some experts are more concerned about the ethics of pushing for more births.

Black feminists do have a framework for this: reproductive justice. It's premised on autonomy, medical ethics, anti-racism, environmental justice, and redistributive politics. Instead of the extremely facile and co-optable "more babies." Dorothy Roberts and Dana-Ain Davis are great starting points
