Amazing FOLDED rock sticking out of the sea. It looks like a car crash happened cratering folds, but it is made of rock.

My Tromboncino squash are finally fruiting. I am planning to keep the fruit as winter squash, as they are more closely related to butternut squash than courgettes.

We watched from a canal towpath bridge whilst mother duck waited patiently for the slowest duckling to catch up. The slow duckling (on the left slightly darker one) wasn’t using its right leg. Hope it’s just a sprain.

Did everybody else get 10,000 jobs done over the weekend because it wasn’t too hot? On top of the weekly housework tasks I managed to clean the fridge, repot houseplants, re-tether the outdoor tomatoes, clean some windows and rented some insurance. Phew!

Gorgeous old house but isn’t there always a bin.

Old Yorkshire house with very wide chimney flue (possibly wide enough for an inglenook) on the outside of the wall. It’s absolutely beautiful all in grey stone but there’s a bright blue wheelie bin out the front I didn’t notice when I took the photo.
