Does anyone know what’s going on with the cycle track on 51st in the Nations? First of all, a lot of the flex posts are in bad shape. What’s worse though is that closer to Centennial they removed any and all delineators and never replaced them and now drivers are parking there.

Most speed cameras ticket at 11 mph over the limit. So I'm issuing my regular reminder that when it comes to a car hitting a pedestrian, each 10 mph increase in speed significantly raises the victim's risk of death. Chart source: walksf.org/our-work/cam...

Can’t do both groceries and children with the Aventon at the same time and the disc brakes squeak but that will be true on any e bike. Honestly they’ve both just been so great. My husband rides the urban arrow; it intimidates me (I’m 5’2”) and I ride the Aventon

If someone chooses to live in a smaller home in the inner city in part to avoid a long commute, they generally don’t pressure society to build them a bigger house with more stuff. So if you choose a bigger stuff-filled house in the suburbs, don’t expect society to build you a fast car commute.

My easy recipe of the summer: Take all four packs of TJs squiggly noodles and cook 4 min. Take 1 cup of the pasta water and whisk with 3/4 cup peanut butter and all four soy/sesame sauce packets (I also added a big spoonful of peanut satay sauce). Add noodles back.

I get removed by inspector a lot. I get letter sent to resident a lot. I try to emphasize if it’s an address that’s always leaving it out over 24 hours after pick up. This is the strongest response I’ve ever gotten.

Hub Nashville actually warned a resident that they might be fined for leaving their trash curby in the bike lane.

I was amazed on Monday when a tree company was parked in the street but they were parked to the left of the painted bike lane only blocking the car lane and not both. I just biked right by on the right while all the cars had to wait for the travel coming in the other direction. 🤯

Another death on a city-owned road, in an area with a lot of pedestrians and cyclists. Harding Place doesn't have sufficient sidewalks and zero cycling infrastructure. Within ~1mi there have been 2 ped deaths, 1 car death, and ~4 nonfatal ped crashes.
