Sorry, I just can’t reconcile 25 years of these displays of American sorrow over a single tragedy with the hundreds of thousands of foreign deaths that flowed from that wound as sacrifices to American vengeance and ambition. I feel utterly insane watching this play out year after year.

On paper, Vibes (1988) is amazing. A romantic comedy starring Cyndi Lauper, Jeff Goldblum, Julian Sands, and Peter Falk? Already sold. With Falk as an excentric trying to hire psychics to find the Treasure of the Llanganatis? Ridiculous. Love it. Sadly the execution is neither romantic or comedic.

I just finished X-Men '97 season 2 and am convinced more than ever that we are never getting an adapted version of Elizabeth Braddock that isn't embarrassing. Her backstory is rougher than the Punisher's and she is in a lesbian couple. Disney would never so all we get is the sexy Asian forever.
