A disappointing night for migrants in St Mellion, with no obvious new arrivals, however this spectacular Vestal (R. sacraria) aberration made it worth the effort in the torrential rain and thunderstorms. I've never seen anything quite like it. #teammoth

More images from my day with a fox family. Remembering the vulnerability of wildlife and the need for protection. Go pick up a camera. Any camera will do! 📸 #UKWildlife #FoxoftheDay #Fox #WorldPhotographyDay #Nature #PhotographersUnited
Disturbed by a rustle in the bushes, this fox looked up and focused towards the distance. They are continuously alert and perceptive. This is a side profile of displaying a mouth full with sharp teeth. The same fox retreated to a bush when a car drove by. This fox is peeping through the bushes making sure the coast is clear. I am sat in the other side of the drive when our eyes met.

Good morning birders. Today’s #BirdOfTheDay theme is: #BestFootForward- any bird taking a step forward or standing on one leg. #ASplashOfColour- Celebrate vibrant plumage or colourful backgrounds that complement the bird. #birds #photography #ECK
A Little Egret coming in to land on a lush green field, its brilliant white wings fully spread and its long black leg extended forward, with yellow-green feet reaching towards the ground. Its slender black bill points ahead and its alert eye is clearly visible. Sunlight illuminates the delicate wing feathers, while the softly blurred green grass and sparkling highlights in the background add a fresh, vibrant feel to the scene.

#FlyDay sparrowhawk #UKwildlife #birds
A sparrowhawk about to land, wings extended upwards, yellow feet tipped by sharp black talons extended forwards and downwards, its head also lowered with a piercing yellow eye looking down. The bird is lit by dramatic lighting from the left against a very dark green blurred background, with much of the bird also in shadow.

Their god created all this nature apparently, can't think much of their god if they are willing to ignore the problem and let all that is wonderful created by him go to waste.
