Maybe the only Labour Party Leader speech that still lives, pure future is here. Labour after this seemed mostly looking back to a passed age. Blair lacked substance, Brown theatre.

#OTD 1963. In Scarborough, Harold Wilson delivers first leaders speech to party conference. "The Britain that is going to be forged in the white heat of this revolution will be no place for restrictive practices or out of date methods, on either side of industry"

Met a few Senior US military personnel, about 20% shouldn't run a bath but obviously Pigsbreath will promote those and sack the competent of which there are many, indeed majority. Extraordinary seeing an incredible military power just destroying itself so quickly. Xe & Putin money well spent

Evri driver is obviously having a good one. Book that 'was delivered' at 1801 arrives along with a couple of packages First next door, fine walk 10m & ring bell on gate - the other 'where the fuck is that?' On reflection think I know where it is. Try on way to work tomorrow or let them find us?

Addressing hunger and malnutrition is a priority firmly rooted in Ireland's history. Prevention is not only the right choice morally, but also the smart choice economically. Ireland will continue to champion child nutrition and work closely with our global partners.

Out canvassing in Piddington (Peoples Republic of ?) this morning. No obvious border infrastructure apart from the village sign and gates (assume whole parish was independent not just village, but may be not). Pleasant enough village, seems to have quite an active Art movement and was collared 1/2

A lot of Labour people visibly believe that a Labour government gives off tolerance particles, and therefore sitting mute is fine and good. The reality is that it took a cross party, whole society effort to make us, as Sunak says, the most successful multiethnic, multifaith democracy in the world:

Need flour. Obviously good for Mathews that most of their flour has sold out. But does no one think of my bread? Managed to cobble a 15 Kg order but had to throw in a Tipo 00 (which I have 4.5Kg of in cupboard) to make up numbers. And yes Dark Rye is in order.
A picture of 9 Mathews Flour types all sold out except Dark Rye - others Strong White, Regenerative White Spelt, Belle Blanc T55, Organic Stone ground, Organic Cotswold Crunch, Self Raising, Seven seed and grain

Been a Councillor a dog watch and already got Highways sorting the road next to house out - Ok I did a 'fix my street' a few weeks ago. You could practically go caving beneath that small hole.
Warning signs on road single track, keep rightBollards around a painted bit of road with a convex down to hole. The tarmac has nothing beneath it.

Obviously it would be better if they hadn't screwed it up with a ridiculous partisan gerrymander in the first place but to be completely, strictly fair, that was the last lot, so on this one specific occasion perhaps it's worth giving them the benefit of the doubt
