Oo love this one. Do you think anything needs to change about the consumer experience to make this happen? As in is this just another marketplace for the consumer or would it feel distinctly different in any way?

DID IT, sans the camping part. learned a lot, immediately onto planning the next trip loved the scenic parts, did not love the nyc riding as much because it's so much busier, and less exciting. great views though

I have a few long distance friends who I primarily talk with via random phone calls when either of us are free, and it's delightful. Much easier to stay and feel close, and much less guilt at not talking for a while because we know the next time we do it'll be a real conversation and connection

Went on a date with my girlfriend a few years ago where we turned our phones off and navigated to dinner by physical map, and having to turn on our phones to scan the menu at the restaurant was... Deflating. So much joy in being in the world together, only to be tethered back to our phones to eat

Just talked with a friend about this, fully agree. I *want* to get a console because the experience is simply more fun for me A machine that's designed to just play the games I own vs opening my computer and navigating to some games library. But it's just not as worthwhile anymore :/

I've been very nervous about meeting all the atproto community folks I've been admiring online in person, but entirely unsurprisingly everyone at @atproto.nyc community day was sooo welcoming More excited about the community, and the weird place for weird people that we're creating, at every event
