DID IT, sans the camping part. learned a lot, immediately onto planning the next trip loved the scenic parts, did not love the nyc riding as much because it's so much busier, and less exciting. great views though
A photo of two bike riders on a scenic bike path. Grass on either side of the path, trees surrounding them, light coming through the leaves. A partly cloudy sky in the distance.A photo of two bike riders on an urban bike path. The world trade center towers in the background against a partly cloudy sky. Trees and shrubs on either side of the trail, separated by a small brick path and short stone wall.A selfie of me while biking, with two riders behind me. I"m wearing a green shirt and a pink bike helmet. wrecked by someone at work screenshotting this meeting transcription and sending it to me while they were trying to recap on a meeting they missed
A screenshot of a partial meeting transcript from a Microsoft Teams meeting recording. It reads,

"Bailey Kane. 0:16

Pretty good. My struggle of the day is I cannot figure out what temperature to set my air conditioner to. And it is the least important thing I've done all day, and it is the most frustrating thing I've done all day. And every 5 minutes, or I'm sure it's longer than that, but it feels like every 5 minutes I'm"

my carefully-managed (read: irresponsibly-ignored) google drive storage limit has trained me well

I love them. Thank you @trezy.pet

Arrived and they are EXACTLY what I wanted woohooo This is the perfect week to test them out too. Great weather, few plans, can't lose
A photo of two tan bike bags sitting on a green couch. One bag is shaped like a small round chest, with a top flap that buckles to close. The other is a triangle with zippers on the side, which fits into the frame of the bike. The bags are primarily tan with black details and pink highlights. A few scattered items sit around them, like folded laundry and the edge of a computer.

I've been very nervous about meeting all the atproto community folks I've been admiring online in person, but entirely unsurprisingly everyone at @atproto.nyc community day was sooo welcoming More excited about the community, and the weird place for weird people that we're creating, at every event
Photo of Jared from Leaflet presenting during a welcome talk at AT Protocol NYC community day. The header, "In a weird place" is in large lettering on the presentation projected onto the screen. The slide is about the atmosphere community's diversity, and it's strength because of it. Rainbow stripes are on the wall, and a few people are sitting in the front row in chairs.

Love this bathroom wallpaper I saw at a cafe this morning. Something I'd expect at a pseudo-rustic cabin at first glance, plus subtle goofy aliens
A photo of wallpaper depicting a repeating pattern of trees, a campsite with someone getting abducted into a UFO, and a lone alien standing in the woods, presumably watching. All in a black and white, hand-drawn style.

A few highlights from the annual dinner party I run with my best friend - rhubarb shrub granita with cumin cinnamon bananas, and pluto basil, a dwarf variety - grilled Cajun salmon with a mango pickle mayo and edible flowers The dessert melted and the salmon was too big but they were delicious 🍲

I'm in the "make the dishes look pretty" stage of planning a dinner party, and browsing the vendor's catalog of obscure plants / herbs / edible flowers is soooo fun my friends are cool with me arranging flower varietals on their plates for fun?? crazy

Highlights from the @atproto.nyc meetup: - nervously meeting atproto community folks I've been following (read: admiring) for months - hearing how much excitement there is for continued community building (esp in the warm weather) - and of course adding many stickers to the collection
A photograph of a desk with a few stickers on it, each with a logo from a different atproto service. Leaflet, Blacksky, Streamplace, Bluesky, write.as, and the New York atproto community.

Installed a peg board for tool storage in my mom's craft room, and I think it actually looks good? Some rough edges, but came together in a few hours and a single trip to Lowe's so I'll call it a success

I am ELATED with how this art project turned out. Leftover stones, driftwood, and preserved moss (terrarium supplies), turned into a table centerpiece with flower holders and space on the edges, so you can swap the flowers and candles out for different moods 🌱🪻🕯️ Giving it away at an art swap soon 🥲
