Anyone else find it really patronising of the government to talk to us about the budget like we are kids? ‘Lolly scramble’, ‘tough love’, ‘adult’ budget.. there’s nothing childish about wanting a responsible budget where we care for our poorest and everyone has a secure home.

Ms N made me a logo, she does Visual imaging at school so her skill set was much more suited to the job than mine was. Pink cos my fave colour and a pansy cos it’s my Mum’s fave and was my Grandma’s too and they taught me to sew.

The fact that Seymour is announcing the decision is chilling because a basic foundation of Pharmac’s integrity and success is its independence and commitment to evidence-based decisions. Politicians should not be deciding which medicines get funded, or who should get access to them.

National are about to fuck up another generation of Kiwi kids. I know they love fucking exams. I hated them. There's absolutely no scenario in the world where you have to sit down for 2-3 hours and answer question expertly on a single subject outside of exams. They test the ability to take exams.

The NZ Govt charges the same Road User Charge to a small electric car as it charges a giant 3.5 tonne diesel SUV. Giant cars cause more road damage, more injuries and deaths to pedestrians, cyclists and children, more climate and air pollution. It is a bizarre subsidy and it needs to change.

DEBT & WASTEFUL SPENDING; and I’m no expert here, but if you look at the historical data, over 6 years Labour increased debt to gdp by roughly 15%, yet in less than 3 years NACT have increased it by 9.5%…so without a global pandemic NACT borrowed MORE than Labour, with zero to show for it?!🙄 #nzpol

My kids are 16-22 in age, its bloody dim when they look forward. Two are studying and racking up student loans, one is job hunting and one at school. It’s depressing for them and for us as parents seeing them being treated like crap by our govt. Vote Nact out.
