We were going to have some fun and wear pink in the office today as a team. Guess who didn't get the memo about the big meeting with the CEO? Apparently the garishly pink girl with the green hair, uuuuuuugh! I felt SO awkward, it was a tad too much.

Frustrating when you have a simple list of required info and materials, and at no point in time you get a "how do i create a sharefolder, i don't know how to do that!", or lists of contacts/links etc, just email after email with links and huge attachments. Should have just said no.

Oh, the Silver Scrolls are next week, at my work, like literally outside my office. Just as well that I'm not invited - I'd usually have seats so far in the back that I would instead go home and watch the livestream. I'm quite blind, and sitting in the back means I might as well stay away.

The new ice cube maker has arrived. It takes longer to make the ice, but it promises to make clear, round ice balls. Those last much longer - I'm actually so excited!

Someone I know over here mentioned going to a gig in Cologne years ago, when I was still over there, and I remember reading about that gig somewhere back then. Pre-internet times, I'd devour gig guides and learn them by heart, pretty much. What if an NZ band would play nearby, right?!

Now that we can all see the effect on trains and how awesome they can be, why don't we get more, right? Seems like such a no-brainer. I see how this has changed Auckland in a very good way. Less cars out and about, a lot less, noticeably so! I can cross the road easily; the motorway is more quiet.

Strange how it goes: I sold nothing but earrings today! No earplugs, no pins, just earrings. I'm not mad, it's just so unusual. Sometimes you wonder if there are chat groups where someone mentions my shop and then people countrywide buy a pair of earrings. Entire days occur when I only lanyards!

Next to the Unichem at Eden Quarter is a little Chinese place called B&D - they've got VERY nice food, especially nice to get breakfast items all day long! W had Kung Pao (sp?) chicken, and I had tofu skin salad (adore!) and dumplings in spicy sauce. I got goosebumps of joy from the dumplings!

Whoever turned down the aircon in the office to freezing, may you get some sort of unpleasant rash. 😔 We bribed someone yesterday into turning the temperature up by a degree, but someone turned it down again. I'm wearing a jacket inside, and I'm 100% not a frosty sort, in terms of tolerance.
