Should we go back to the growth economy that fuelled the climate crisis and global inequalities? Should we go back to meek attempts at addressing structural oppression which led to the current resurgence of fascism? Or should we actually attempt to at least imagine a better world?

You cannot be worried about the rise of the far right and want to continue with politics as usual or return to pre-Trump/Brexit/RN/AfD etc It is precisely these politics which have led to the rise of the far right I understand this may be hard to accept but I really don't think there is a choice

Rees-Mogg is the modern Theresa May: someone whose racial politics were so extreme that they laid the foundation for someone else even worse, and then whose dismay at what they had created was intepreted as moderation. But he's still extreme and always will be.
